VIHJA Membership Information
Membership in the VIHJA is required to ensure riders accumulate their competition points in the year, gives members the ability to vote at the Annual General Meeting and other Special Meetings, and that liabilities are effectively managed for the club, show organizers, and participants. It has long been a requirement that memberships be purchased prior to competing, and ensuring this has been an ongoing struggle for the association, and has taken considerable efforts to achieve.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP will be returning to our membership format and will be in full effect for starting January 2024!
Membership is required for all riders and trainers.
Non-competitors may also purchase an annual membership to help give better access to show programs, reminders for upcoming events and the opportunity to vote at the AGM and other special meetings. Please fill out the form below to purchase your 2024 membership. Annual memberships can be purchased on an individual member or family basis.
It is extremely important that our members are also members of Horse Council. This must be arranged prior to your first horse show! If you have not yet purchased your Horse Council membership, it’s very easy. You can purchase or renew your membership here. We will be checking these, and anyone that does not have their Horse Council membership will not accrue points, and may be prohibited from competing.
To make this easier for the show office and membership director, please provide a photocopy of your 2023 HCBC membership card. If you are non-competing member, but would still like to be a member, thereby ensuring you are able to vote at the 2023 AGM, please contact us.

We will maintain our membership lists online. You can subscribe to our mailing list at any time. We send out horse show programs and reminders for important events, no advertising. You can sign up using the form below.
